Long time, no blog post!

This time of the year is so incredibly crazy! I hope to post as much as I can, but it's gonna be a crunch to say the least.

Do you have someone special in your life - that most special person of all special people you know and love? The one that you can tell anything to and you know that they're going to tell you the truth, but be supportive at the same time? I do, and my special person is my brother, Andrew. He is younger than me by five years, but in many ways, he has become what I would think an older brother would be - my defender, my shoulder to cry on, and the one that never fails to aggravate the life out of me!

And now, my special person has joined the Coast Guard and is shipping out for basic training on December 7th. Though I'm so proud of him and what he is doing for our country, there is a part of me that cries at the thought of him leaving. I feel like I'm losing him in a way. But, time flies and things change, right? It doesn't seem right to me that this brother who was smaller and just a cootie boy just a few years ago has turned into the young man that I (literally) look up to today. How time does fly! Ok, enough, on to some pictures now.
:-)

Here is a couple photos I took of my brother and his girlfriend in a recent photoshoot:

And this is my brother and I, taken on the same day!
Cute, aren't we?
:-)

Until next time,
Beth

Sisters

I was born the eldest of seven children, the girls being outnumbered. Because of the big age difference, since we are separted with two brothers in between myself and the second girl, we did not grow up very close. Nevertheless, with a bunch of aggravating brothers, we had to learn to stick together!
Rebekah, my oldest, younger sister will turn sixteen in December, which is still hard for me to grasp. But, there's more! See, when Rebekah was a baby, Momma told Daddy that if they were going to have any more kids, she wanted to wait three years. Well, God seen to it that it happened that way, because three years to the day later, Anna was born. We all celebrated Rebekah's third birthday in the hospital room. She always said that Anna was her birthday present. :-)

This first is probably my all time fave of Rebekah!

I love this!

I got a Japanese umbrella or whatever they are called from Jake's great-aunt!
I'm going to have so much fun with it!!!

Beautiful!

She is such a sweetheart...when she wants to be!
LOL!
Love you, sis!

I'm back!

I do appologive, my faithful few. This week has been a bit crazy, and my blog got a bit neglected! Anyway, I'm back, so I want to make another instalation on my family pictures!

Today, I want to share a few of my son, and a family picture of my own. I love my parents, my grandparents, my siblings and cousins so much, but no love can match the love I have for my husband and little boy. No, they're not perfect, and yes, sometimes I want them to leave me alone! But at the end of the day, I still adore them!

Meet my family!

Logan has this teddy bear that he loves! His name is "Jeremiah" named after my sister-in-law's new baby (seen earlier on the blog)
Logan does everything from feeding to changing this bears imaginary diapers! So, I thought it only fitting to inlcude him in the pictures!

His faces are so interesting at times...

He is my little sweetheart!

I thank God for him every day!
Logan was born almost 6 weeks early, and spent 2 1/2 weeks in the hospital. It's hard to look at him now, and imagine him at 4 pounds, 4 ounces! It's amazing just how fast they grow!

Until tomorrow,
Beth

Sunsets

So, my plans were changed a bit, and I'm not at home with access to all my pictures, so here is a few sunset photos that I have taken. I will share some more of my family starting Monday.
I don't know about you, but I love sunsets. I love walking on a cool evening as the sun is setting and just staring into the sky!

Beautiful, huh?
Until tomorrow,
Beth

My Sweet Cousin

I have been blessed with the best family in the world, on both my father and mother's side of the family. I love each and every one very much. So, in these next few posts, I'm going to share some photos of my many family members - and there is a lot of us, too! I have six brothers and sisters, ten cousins (and another on the way) and that is just on my mom's side! There are four more cousins on my dad's!
The first photos I would like to share are of my cousin, Brooke. I took these a few weeks ago for a magazine article.
What do you think?

This picture was my most favorite of the entire shoot!

I like different ideas - odd things, so this pose with the chair is on my top ten!

Brooke is the type of girl that can make you smile even when you have had the worst day of your life.
Her smile is contagious!

Until tomorrow,
Beth

Hello friends and faithful readers! I should begin by telling you that, next to Spring, Autumn in my favorite season of the year. I love the vibrant colors of the trees, the cool breeze rustleing the leaves - I love everything about it! Being a photographer and getting to capture these colors in my work is just icing on the cake. Here are a few photos I took the other day, specifically for you!

Fall in the park!

Is this photo not beautiful? Can't you just imagine standing there amidst those wonderful colors?

Even the simplest of things can be beautiful!

It has been something I have wanted to do for a long time - to capture a horse in a picture like this.

Fall over the pipeline.  :-)

Until tomorrow, friends!
